It finally arrived! It was stuffed into my mailbox and I worried it was getting crunched up but it was fine. I looked through it briefly, holding my breath the whole time. The book looks good. The designer did a spectacular job and it was worth the wait. I went to K Mart and stared at the books on the shelf wondering how mine would look next to them! The boys at the print shop liked it too so my mind was set at ease. Always those nagging little wonderings going on. I sent my approval and now await the marketing team to contact me to go to the next level!
Well, this is my first blog- ever! I’m not much on being spontaneous but I’ll give it a try. I have just published a book. It is called “A South Florida Culinary Adventure” and I am waiting for the publisher to send me the first copy. I have never been so excited in my whole life and yet I feel calm at the same time. The publishing process started in February and has taken this long to get through the editing and design. There’s been time to do some preliminary marketing (getting bookstore addresses) but if anybody has ideas about marketing I sure would appreciate hearing from you. I am agoraphobic so can’t do readings or TV. Thanks so much.
